Cabbage Lentil Soup

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup red lentils
1 cup cabbage, shredded
3 cup water
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp mustard oil
2 tbsp BeVego Gingerbread Protein Powder
1 tsp parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan, add the lentils with the water.
- Cover and cook for 12 minutes on high heat.
- Add the cabbage, turmeric, cumin, coriander, cayenne, salt, pepper, and cook for 8 minutes.
- In another pan, add the mustard oil. Fry the minced garlic and onion.
- Toss until brown and add to the soup. Add the protein powder and mix until well combined.
- Serve hot with parsley, cayenne on top.
